Signalman’s lodging 59 + 866 is close to the sandy beach that ends in Capo Playa. The beaches of Salinelle and Gorgo Lungo are easily reachable. To the east there are various coves easily accessible, which will allow those who want to change a beach each day to be able to accommodate their desires.
The sea overlooked by the town of Cefalù is clean and beautiful, with free showers available, however, especially in July and August and especially on weekends, it is particularly crowded. In these periods it is suggested to take a bath in the westernmost portion of gulf of Cefalù (more or less below the S. Lucia hotel). This part of the beach is always sandy, with interludes of really fascinating rocks.
But the incredible beauty of Cefalù can really be appreciated from the sea, you can rent boats at the port, reachable through the center (take the “ring road” following the junction for Gibilmanna in the area of S. Lucia and continue following the signs “Messina”) and turning left towards the end of the village (well marked with signs “porto”).
